John Moore has been designing and making jewellery since graduating from Manchester Metropolitan University in 2002. Inspired by Amazonian artefacts and natural forms his distinctive designs in brightly coloured anodised aluminium can be found in reputable shops and galleries across the UK, and have featured regularly in Dazzle for the last five years. John has been a regular face at Origin, while other exhibitions include Ruthin Craft Centre, The Scottish Gallery and the V&A shop. In February 2008 the British Jewellers Association presented him with first prize in the Kayman Award for his ‘Vane’ collection and he was recently shortlisted for Young British Designer at the 2008 UK Jewellery Awards.
